Ingredients
- 3 lb peaches
- 4 cups sugar
- 2 limes
- 1/2 cup Peach Moonshine
- 2 sticks cinnamon
Directions
- Wash peaches leaving skins on. Slice in half, removing pits, then cut into thick slices.
- Put peach slices, sugar, and lime juice in a lidded container (preferably glass) and sit overnight.
- In a nonstick pan, add peaches, moonshine, and cinnamon sticks.
- Simmer for 5 - 7 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Peaches should begin to look translucent and syrup with thicken.
- Return to heat for 3-5 minutes, stirring. Remove from heat, discard cinnamon sticks, and let cool.
